Time to Register for the Ghyll Head Challenge
This year the Ghyll Head Challenge is on Saturday 2nd November, with the opportunity to stay at the Ghyll Head Outdoor Education Centre on Friday and/or Saturday night.
If you feel like a mountain climb or hill walk and a paddle across Lake Windermere to raise money for a great cause, then sign up now. What we ask in return is help in raising funds to make the Ropes Course at Ghyll Head more accessible for all children and young people.
We have planned two different challenge opportunities, however what we are able to do will be dependent on the weather and conditions on the fells.
- For those who are reasonably fit this will include a challenging hike over higher fells
- For others it will include a low level, less demanding walk
Each challenge will be lead by Ghyll Head staff. You can choose the challenge that’s right for you.
We are asking each participant to commit to a minimum £50 donation and a contribution for staying at Ghyll Head, in advance to confirm your registration.
