Anyone supporting the aims of MOET can become a member either as an individual or as a school / college, youth group or partner organisation. Membership is FREE with many benefits. Donations one off or annual, are always welcome to support our work.

Becoming a Member

Membership is open to all individuals interested in engaging in our exciting outdoor educational endeavors. Upon becoming a member, you will gain exclusive entry to our diverse array of events, training courses, and unique deals. These privileges encompass potential discounts on training courses or the opportunity to rent The Hive Pod Village at Ghyll Head, situated within the scenic confines of the Lake District National Park.

By becoming a member you can participate by:

  • Attending the Annual General Meeting and electing trustees
  • Joining subgroups and helping to deliver events or activities
  • Participating in fundraising events
  • Promoting the work of MOET with others.

In return members will receive:

  • Two e-newsletters a year on the work of MOET
  • Information about forthcoming fundraising events or training courses
  • Information about promotional ‘special offers’, such as reductions in the cost of training courses, or hire of the Hive Pod Village at Ghyll Head Outdoor Education and Activity Centre on Lake Windermere.
