Outdoor Expedition Skills Course 2026 – “I will be taking away a whole new world of excitement, confidence and curiosity….now I feel genuinely excited about going out, even to my local park.”

NACRO GM Outdoor Learning delivered an introductory course on planning and supporting the delivery of youth expeditions for teachers, youth workers and community leaders. 19 leaders attended, learning basic expedition skills needed to support delivery of expeditions on foot in urban or rural countryside terrain (e.g. Bronze DofE expeditions or local youth expeditions).

Fully funded places for Youth and Community leaders from VCSO organisations in Manchester were provided through a partnership between Manchester Outdoor Education Trust (MOET) and Manchester Youth, Play & Participation.

Attendees clearly loved the course, gaining from NACRO GM Outdoor Learning’s exceptional expertise & knowledge.
