MOET Film night 2026 – Wow! A fabulous success
Manchester Outdoor Education Trust (MOET) Adventure Film Night with London Mountain Film Festival
A total BLOCKBUSTER!!! The MOET Adventure Film Night took place on 11th March at Withington Public Hall Institute and what a great success it was.
It was an evening of thrilling adventure films, socialising and mixing with like-minded outdoorsy folk, and all for a very good local cause, to get more young people out into the Great Outdoors.
We showed 11 films thanks to a partnership with the London Mountain Film Festival, a mix of jaw dropping landscapes and epic journeys on the big screen. Who attended? Well, 85 people who love a good story including some seasoned adventurers. A fabulous, friendly group of people who enjoy the outdoors.
Special thanks to Elaine and friends who made cakes for the evening and to Dixy who spent her 75th birthday with us!
Our fundraising total was just over £1,000! Wonderful! Thanks to all that attended.
