Challenge Weekend

32 people gathered at Ghyll Head Outdoor Education Centre, Windermere, for an exciting and sociable adventure weekend.

The challenge began on a sunny Saturday morning with a scenic, hilly 6 mile walk from Ghyll Head, through shoulder height ferns, over Gummer’s How and down to the lakeside National Trust venue Fell Foot. After the walk Ghyll Head’s fabulous staff had a flotilla of 12 canoes rafted in pairs ready for the intrepid MOET team to row back to the centre.

Saturday evening was a sociable BBQ back at Ghyll Head and a very enjoyable day for all.
