The Lord Mayor visits Ghyll Head

Some of us were pleased to join the Ghyll Head team for the visit of the Lord Mayor, Councillor Yasmine Dar, to the centre. We had very supportive discussions about the work of MOET and the importance of outdoor adventurous activity. She is very interested of our efforts to extend the provision of opportunities within Manchester.

The Lord Mayor also met children from Birchfields Primary school who were on a residential visit to Ghyll Head. She was then keen to follow them and take her turn on the zip wire before leaving to return to Manchester.
