Fundraising Events
Our fundraising events pull existing members together and act as a recruitment vehicle for new members.
We make a great effort to develop a diverse range of fundraising campaigns that offer members a chance to actively support our aims. Recent examples include the replacement of the onsite Teepee, and the ropes course at Ghyll Head. Through grants, individual donations and fundraising events we are proud to have raised over £40,000 over the last two years (2021 – 2022).

Events
MOET organises several fundraising events which are themed around adventurous activity or the great outdoors. This helps to raise awareness of our cause and the outdoor centres and open spaces that we have in the city and beyond. These events are supported by our Partners. Aswell as raising money MOET is keen to build a community of supporters who share our passion and interest in getting children and young people out in the great outdoors.
Grants
MOET has been successful in working with partner organisations to secure grants that allows us to create and deliver new opportunities and strengthen partnership working across the outdoor education sector. Recent grants we have received have been from Young Manchester Covid Recovery Partnership Funding to help outdoor providers to develop their offer post the pandemic and Street Games that funded partners to organise a festival of activities for girls and young women this summer. Individual Donations
