Introduction to walking with your Youth Group 

This workshop will focus on building confidence, safety skills, and leadership techniques for taking youth groups out walking in local parks and green spaces. 

Key topics include route planning, managing group safety, and assessing and mitigating risks. It will also cover activity ideas for youth groups while out walking as well as next steps for further training to take groups out further afield. 

• Sat 6^th Feb, 10am – 3pm – Wythenshawe Park

There are 7 fully funded places available for Youth and Community Leaders from VCSO organisations in Manchester (cost usually £120 per person). These places are funded by the Youth, Play & Participation team and Manchester Outdoor Education Trust (MOET).
