MOET organises several events which are themed around adventurous activity or the great outdoors. This helps to raise awareness of our cause and the outdoor centres and open spaces that we have in the city and beyond.

MOET Annual General Meeting 2026 – Thursday 23rd April

Thank you to all that attended our Annual General Meeting of Manchester Outdoor Education Trust (MOET). There were more than 30 attending. It is always great to be surrounded by adventurous people & especially important to celebrate the skill and expertise of Manchester’s Outdoor deliverers. MOET had much to celebrate. Worthy of a special mention, MOET has grown considerably over the past three years, expanding both its reach and impact across Manchester. With this growth comes greater responsibility, and MOET Trustees have carefully reviewed how best to ensure the charity is fit for the future. MOET trustees proposed an important and positive change:- to transition MOET into a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) which after some very positive debate was agreed by all.

Thanks to Ashgate School for hosting and to all presenters on the day including Sarah (Lancasterian School), Claire (Ashgate School), Vicki (DofE), Jeff, Elaine & Paul.

MOET Partners Meeting – 23 June 2026

MOET Partners met in June, with The Big Depot, Blochaus, Paddle UK, British Cycling, adding to the already star studded group of partners. Meeting minutes are here.
